TOAD and RYANS MOST "EXCELLENT" day

 

Tuesdsay-20th- May- 2014:

 

This morning Me and Ryan drove to Stratfield Brake @ Kidlington _ went for a field and canal walk (check out TOAD Walks Blog:- http://toadwalk.blogspot.co.uk/)

 

Drove to The Kings Arms @ Kidlington + had dinner @ lunch @ The Harvester.

 



Drove to Heartwood Furniture @ New Yatt had a chat with Trevor + he cut me a piece of wood for the  pottery plaque for ROPBERT'S grave.

 

Lunch@Simons + SILVER STUDIOS

 

Me and Ryan drove to Simons@Kidlington+ met Simon _ Farhana and baby Annabelle.

 

 

+ Had a M"E"!! chat.

 

 

After lunc, drove to St Edwards School for SILVER STUDIOS, + painted famous

quotes on boards (I choose: BE "EXCELLENT" TO EACH OTHER.

Walking the Dog

 

 

This morning Ryan and I done some of the House- Hold Tasks.

 

Then we drove to Freeland Rec. with Rosie the Springer Spaniel + walked round the playing field 3 times + chucked the ball for the dog.

 

 

 

HORSE AND TRAP back with a vengeance

After lunch @ The Harvester @ Kings Arms, Kidlington me and Ryan drove to Old Shifford RDA for the second Horse and Trap outing this season. 

Only one of the horses was there this afternoon but went for a lovely ride on the trap pulled by Lady.

Wednesday evening Me, Ryan and Simon drove to Nando's@Cowley Road, Oxford for MARY JAYNE'S (MJ) Birthday meal.

Silverlining Carols @ JR

 

 

This afternoon Me and RYAN bused to John Radcliffe Hospital.  Met some SILVER LINERS,

 

 

Spread some Christmas cheer by singing some Christmas Carols to the staff.

 

SILVER STRIKES

This afternoon I hosted the last SILVER STRIKES of the year, it was well attended, with everybody enjoying the bowling!!

Driving@DRIVING AMBITION (Amphibians= TOAD)

This morning, Me, RYAN and SIMON drove to DRIVING AMBITION (Amphibians= TOAD).  After lunch Me and MARK PREWITT (Driving Instructor) went for an hour off road driving lesson (around an aerodrome).  Changed gear, reversed basically had an ABSOLUTELY NONE MORE "EXCELLENT" time,  It was REALLY NICE being behind the wheel of a car.

 

 

 

 

Full of COLD, but not letting it get me down!!

Woke up feeling full of COLD.  But me and RYAN still managed to go for a walk to Newsagents re. Oxford Mail. Check out the Wookie hat!! 

 

Drove into Witney + had a weee walk- about + from Rapture bought TWISTED STATE OF MIND (3, 11 year old Rockers from Witney) demo CD.  Listened to it in the car on the way home and they REALLY ROCK!!! http://twistedstateofmind.com

This morning Me and RYAN drove to Windrush Leisure Centre @Witney + attended a Tai Chi class.

 

Then drove to visit STEVEN @ Cogges + MIKE was also there + we all had a MOST "EXCELLENT" chat!!

 

When home practiced some of the moves.

Today Me and Ryan had dinner @ lunch @ Sainsbury's Café.

Drove to St Edwards School for SILVER STUDIOS. 

 

 

We started designing and painting CHRISTMAS cards.

Edward@'TOADHALL'

 This morning I welcomed EDWARD and NICOLA to 'TOADHALL'.



 

Gave them a GUIDED TOUR + had a MOST "EXCELLENT" chat.



 

Thanks to SUPER Mum for rescuing lunch, from the misbehaving oven and chicken.

 

Prepared and ate lunch, DOUBLE thumbs up success.

 

After lunch drove to Witney Town,

 Had a wee walk around town introducing Edward and Nicola to Oxfordshire's only Independent Record shop- the MOST "EXCELLENT" Rapture. 

This morning me and Ryan drove to Liz Teall's Pottery Studio @ Chipping Norton, where I had my first lesson on the Potters Wheel and I threw 3 bowls.

 This was my first time on a Potters Wheel and personally I think it went REALLY WELL!!

Start of TOADS Sponsored walks.

Me and Bex drove to Stonesfield and went for a REALLY NICE walk at Stonesfield Common. Which is the start of my sponsored walk, in which I am walking 150 miles in 3 months to raise money for SILVER LINING charity.

 

This is me at the start of the walk with my Padometre round my neck.

 

 It is a LOVELY wooded walk with lots of twists and turns. Check out the Sepia picture above.

 Also the walk takes in the river.

 And some beautiful views.

The walk was part of the Oxfordshire Way.



Snowdonia part 2

 

When back down made a flying exit

 

Me, Simon and Laurence back down from top of mountain.  Suffering slight altitude sickness? NOT!

 

 

Had dinner @ The Heights Bar.



 

A bit of Connect 4 before dinner.

 

Drove to Snowdon Ranger YHA (where we stayed the night), + had a few games of Pool and GIANT Connect 4.

 Packed up our stuff + left.  The lady not included

 After having Brunch had a walk round a MASSIVE Castle.

 

Then drove all the way HOME!!

After a MOST "EXCELLENT" Snowdon Adventure!!!
